There was a Pied Piper and it was Obama

I received this email today and I just had to share it. The sad part is that it is real and it is happening now.
_____________________________________________________________________________

There was a Pied Piper who said,
"We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change it!"
*And the people said, "Change is good!"

Then he said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats,".
*And the people said "Sock it to them!"

"and redistribute their wealth."
*And the people said, "Show me the money!"

And then he said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody"
*And Joe the plumber said, are you kidding me?"

And Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized.
*And one lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?"

And she was banished from the kingdom!
Then someone asked, "With no foreign relations experience, how will you deal with radical terrorists?"

And the Pied Piper said, "Simple. I'll sit down and talk with them and show them how nice we really are and they'll forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!"

Then the Pied Piper said, "I'll give 95% of you lower taxes."
*And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes."

So the Pied Piper said, "Then I'll give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!"
*And the people said, "Show me the money!"

Then the Pied Piper said, "I'll tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!"
*And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed.

And he said, "I'll mandate employer- funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage."
*And the people said, "Gim'me some of that!"

Then he said, "I'll penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."
*And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then the Pied Piper actually said, "I'll bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!"
*And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates."

So the Pied Piper said, "Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we'll bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!" Then he said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing."
*And the people said, "Ole`! Bravo!" And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy slowed even further. Then the Pied Piper said, "I am the Messiah and I'm here to save you! We'll just print more money so everyone will have enough!" But our foreign trading partners said, "Wait a minute. Your dollar isn't worth what it was. You'll have to pay more."
*And the people said, "Wait a minute. That's not fair!"

And the world said, "Neither are these other, idiotic programs you've embraced. You've become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you'll play by our rules!"
*And the people said, "What have we done?"

But it was too late.
If you think this is a fairy tale, open your eyes and ears. It's happening RIGHT NOW!

Obama and his pre-911 mindset

The Obama Administration is going back to a pre-911 mindset that will further our chances of a spectacular terror attack against the United States. This Administration will no longer use the phrase, “war on terror” and will instead use the liberal correct phrase, “overseas contingency operations." President Obama no longer refers to the terrorists at Camp Gitmo as Enemy Combatants as they will soon be living and planning the next terror attack in your neighborhood. Mr. Obama is planning to release some of the terrorists within our borders and give them government assistance to start a new life. So I guess the liberals now want a terrorist bailout?

Mr. Obama is planning to cut our military defense budget and trade away our missile defense shield to the Nu-Soviets in trade for international acceptance. I have stated before that Obama will make Jimmy Carter look like Rambo when this is all said and done. To placate the Muslims of the world, Obama plans to visit two mosques in his upcoming foreign travels, which is symbolism over substance. Candidate Obama promised to havlks” with our enemies, Iran, Syria and North Korea, so that they would understand that we mean them no harm. How is that going Mr. Obama? North Korea is about to launch an ICBM over Japan and I have heard nothing from your Administration.

As we speak, the tyrants of the world have that famed four hour erection that can be caused by Viagra, but in this case, caused by Obama. They see Obama as weak as they did Clinton and will act accordingly. If Obama had any balls, he would use that “unproven” missile defense technology and blow that N. Korean missile out of the sky. If Mr. Obama would do that, I would be his biggest supporter and have some confidence in his Commander-in-Chief skills.

The liberals and Obama seem to have this misconception that there is not a Global War on Terror and it is all just a misunderstanding. I am going to list some headlines of recent news stories and you tell me there is not a war against Islamo-Facist terrorism.

-Taliban militants are making ever bigger and more sophisticated bombs.

-Taliban suicide bomber kills 50

-Taliban suicide bomber kills 11

-Al Qaeda trained Britons return from Pakistan.

-Bin Laden urges Jihad against new Somali Government

-TWENTY Muslim separatists and seven soldiers have been killed in fighting in the southern Philippines.

Obama's poll numbers continue to fall.

______________________________________________________________________________

President Obama's poll numbers continue to slide according the respected Rasmussen polling group. According to Rasmussen, " Forty-eight percent (48%) say the President is doing a good or excellent job on national security issues. That’s down four points from a week ago and the first time his numbers have dipped below 50% on the national security front." If Obama ever gets any real scrutiny from the media, I am sure those numbers will fall at a much faster rate.

Rasmussen goes on to state that the Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 35% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty percent (30%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +5. By comparison, George W. Bush had about a 13% higher numbers than the Messiah at this time in office. You have take into account that Bush was hated by the media and was being accused of "stealing" the election from the Global-Warming freak AlGore. The hostile press that Bush had to endure and the fawning press Obama now receives would actually make that 13% even more impressive.

No more bailouts: Privatize the Post Office and Amtrak

It is high time that we change the constitution and allow the free market to take over our mail services. I do not understand how a company that has a monopoly in the market cannot seem to make a profit. The Post Office lost $2.8 billion in 2008 while the Post Master General raked in $263.575 last year with a “BONUS” of $135,000. Why did John E. Potter receive pay raises of 40 percent since 2006 and the bonus when his company is failing. Where is the phony outrage from our leaders in Congress? Where is the 90% tax on Mr. Potter’s bonus?

There is one factor in the Post Office not making a profit and that would be unions. It seems that any industry with a large presence of union thugs seems to have a hard time of making a profit. Airlines, Detroit Auto Makers and Amtrak. Amtrak has never made a profit since 1971 when it was created. The Obama Administration now wants the power to take over failing companies and run them into the ground like they have the Post Office and Amtrak. Why do liberals think that the government can successfully run a company when they cannot even run Medicare and Social Security.

It is time to privatize the Post Office and Amtrak and quit dumping billions of taxpayer moneys into the government cesspit. You will not see the liberal controlled congress or White House take any actions to privatize these companies. Union thugs are the liberals puppet master and they will do nothing to upset their applecart. I have a couple friends that work for the Post Office and they say that the US should privatize the agency and lessen the power of the Union thugs. I will not hold my breath!

US Treasury Secretary Geithnet supports "super currency"

US Treasury Secretary Geithner is truly a mental midget that is in way over his head. Mr. Geithner expressed the willingness of the Obama Administration to accept the idea of the Communist Chinese proposal, outlined this week by central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan, which called for a "super-sovereign reserve currency." The mere fact that Mr. Geithner is even considering the thought that the dollar may cease being the anchor of the global monetary system is unfathomable.

President Obama backpedaled by stating, "I don't believe that there is a need for a global currency. The reason the dollar is strong right now is because investors consider the United States the strongest economy in the world with the most stable political system in the world." The fact is the Dollar is not strong at present and I am not sure we have the strongest economy in the world. The Communist Chinese continue buying our debt and they are being encouraged to buy even more.

The dollar plunged instantly against the euro, yen, and sterling as Mr. Geithner’s comments flashed across trading screens. It seems every time someone from the Obama Administration opens their collective mouths, the markets plunge or the Dollar sinks. It almost seems that there is a concentrated effort to destroy the economy as much as possible. I guess Obama and the liberals have spent all the Dollars available so now is the time to spend some other currency.

Is it becoming apparent to all of you Obama supporters that you might have made a mistake? We warned you before the election that this guy was bad news. I have to admit, this guy is worse than I thought he would be. Mr. Obama nominated a tax cheat as Treasury Secretary and that nominee now supports getting rid of the Dollar. My God, the Apple Dumpling Gang continues it’s bumbling and is taking this once great country down the road to hell.

Jake DeSantis of AIG quits with an op-ed to NYT

The following is a letter sent on Tuesday by Jake DeSantis, an executive vice president of the American International Group’s financial products unit, to Edward M. Liddy, the chief executive of A.I.G. It ran in The New York Times’s op-ed section. Mr. DeSantis is one of the many people that Obama and the liberals demonize on a daily basis. Mr. DeSantis is the type of person that made this country and his company prosper and is now made to look like the Devil incarnate.
______________________________________________________________________________________

DEAR Mr. Liddy,

It is with deep regret that I submit my notice of resignation from A.I.G. Financial Products. I hope you take the time to read this entire letter. Before describing the details of my decision, I want to offer some context:

I am proud of everything I have done for the commodity and equity divisions of A.I.G.-F.P. I was in no way involved in — or responsible for — the credit default swap transactions that have hamstrung A.I.G. Nor were more than a handful of the 400 current employees of A.I.G.-F.P. Most of those responsible have left the company and have conspicuously escaped the public outrage.

After 12 months of hard work dismantling the company — during which A.I.G. reassured us many times we would be rewarded in March 2009 — we in the financial products unit have been betrayed by A.I.G. and are being unfairly persecuted by elected officials. In response to this, I will now leave the company and donate my entire post-tax retention payment to those suffering from the global economic downturn. My intent is to keep none of the money myself.

I take this action after 11 years of dedicated, honorable service to A.I.G. I can no longer effectively perform my duties in this dysfunctional environment, nor am I being paid to do so. Like you, I was asked to work for an annual salary of $1, and I agreed out of a sense of duty to the company and to the public officials who have come to its aid. Having now been let down by both, I can no longer justify spending 10, 12, 14 hours a day away from my family for the benefit of those who have let me down.

You and I have never met or spoken to each other, so I’d like to tell you about myself. I was raised by schoolteachers working multiple jobs in a world of closing steel mills. My hard work earned me acceptance to M.I.T., and the institute’s generous financial aid enabled me to attend. I had fulfilled my American dream.

I started at this company in 1998 as an equity trader, became the head of equity and commodity trading and, a couple of years before A.I.G.’s meltdown last September, was named the head of business development for commodities. Over this period the equity and commodity units were consistently profitable — in most years generating net profits of well over $100 million. Most recently, during the dismantling of A.I.G.-F.P., I was an integral player in the pending sale of its well-regarded commodity index business to UBS. As you know, business unit sales like this are crucial to A.I.G.’s effort to repay the American taxpayer.

The profitability of the businesses with which I was associated clearly supported my compensation. I never received any pay resulting from the credit default swaps that are now losing so much money. I did, however, like many others here, lose a significant portion of my life savings in the form of deferred compensation invested in the capital of A.I.G.-F.P. because of those losses. In this way I have personally suffered from this controversial activity — directly as well as indirectly with the rest of the taxpayers.

I have the utmost respect for the civic duty that you are now performing at A.I.G. You are as blameless for these credit default swap losses as I am. You answered your country’s call and you are taking a tremendous beating for it.

But you also are aware that most of the employees of your financial products unit had nothing to do with the large losses. And I am disappointed and frustrated over your lack of support for us. I and many others in the unit feel betrayed that you failed to stand up for us in the face of untrue and unfair accusations from certain members of Congress last Wednesday and from the press over our retention payments, and that you didn’t defend us against the baseless and reckless comments made by the attorneys general of New York and Connecticut.

My guess is that in October, when you learned of these retention contracts, you realized that the employees of the financial products unit needed some incentive to stay and that the contracts, being both ethical and useful, should be left to stand. That’s probably why A.I.G. management assured us on three occasions during that month that the company would “live up to its commitment” to honor the contract guarantees.

That may be why you decided to accelerate by three months more than a quarter of the amounts due under the contracts. That action signified to us your support, and was hardly something that one would do if he truly found the contracts “distasteful.”

That may also be why you authorized the balance of the payments on March 13.

At no time during the past six months that you have been leading A.I.G. did you ask us to revise, renegotiate or break these contracts — until several hours before your appearance last week before Congress.

I think your initial decision to honor the contracts was both ethical and financially astute, but it seems to have been politically unwise. It’s now apparent that you either misunderstood the agreements that you had made — tacit or otherwise — with the Federal Reserve, the Treasury, various members of Congress and Attorney General Andrew Cuomo of New York, or were not strong enough to withstand the shifting political winds.

You’ve now asked the current employees of A.I.G.-F.P. to repay these earnings. As you can imagine, there has been a tremendous amount of serious thought and heated discussion about how we should respond to this breach of trust.

As most of us have done nothing wrong, guilt is not a motivation to surrender our earnings. We have worked 12 long months under these contracts and now deserve to be paid as promised. None of us should be cheated of our payments any more than a plumber should be cheated after he has fixed the pipes but a careless electrician causes a fire that burns down the house.

Many of the employees have, in the past six months, turned down job offers from more stable employers, based on A.I.G.’s assurances that the contracts would be honored. They are now angry about having been misled by A.I.G.’s promises and are not inclined to return the money as a favor to you.

The only real motivation that anyone at A.I.G.-F.P. now has is fear. Mr. Cuomo has threatened to “name and shame,” and his counterpart in Connecticut, Richard Blumenthal, has made similar threats — even though attorneys general are supposed to stand for due process, to conduct trials in courts and not the press.

So what am I to do? There’s no easy answer. I know that because of hard work I have benefited more than most during the economic boom and have saved enough that my family is unlikely to suffer devastating losses during the current bust. Some might argue that members of my profession have been overpaid, and I wouldn’t disagree.

That is why I have decided to donate 100 percent of the effective after-tax proceeds of my retention payment directly to organizations that are helping people who are suffering from the global downturn. This is not a tax-deduction gimmick; I simply believe that I at least deserve to dictate how my earnings are spent, and do not want to see them disappear back into the obscurity of A.I.G.’s or the federal government’s budget. Our earnings have caused such a distraction for so many from the more pressing issues our country faces, and I would like to see my share of it benefit those truly in need.

On March 16 I received a payment from A.I.G. amounting to $742,006.40, after taxes. In light of the uncertainty over the ultimate taxation and legal status of this payment, the actual amount I donate may be less — in fact, it may end up being far less if the recent House bill raising the tax on the retention payments to 90 percent stands. Once all the money is donated, you will immediately receive a list of all recipients.

This choice is right for me. I wish others at A.I.G.-F.P. luck finding peace with their difficult decision, and only hope their judgment is not clouded by fear.

Mr. Liddy, I wish you success in your commitment to return the money extended by the American government, and luck with the continued unwinding of the company’s diverse businesses — especially those remaining credit default swaps. I’ll continue over the short term to help make sure no balls are dropped, but after what’s happened this past week I can’t remain much longer — there is too much bad blood. I’m not sure how you will greet my resignation, but at least Attorney General Blumenthal should be relieved that I’ll leave under my own power and will not need to be “shoved out the door.”

Sincerely,

Jake DeSantis

AXIS OF UNITY: Jihad from South America

There is a time bomb ticking on our southern border with Mexico and it is not the drug war that now envelops the region. The time bomb that I refer is Iranian backed Hezbollah terrorists that are operating in South America in the Tri-border ( Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina) area. Hezbollah has manipulated the frustrations of many Muslims among about 25,000 Arab residents that reside in that area. An investigation by Telemundo two years ago has uncovered details of an extensive smuggling network run by Hezbollah and funnels large sums of money to militia leaders in the Middle East to finances training camps.

Newsmax is reporting today that the Iranian-backed Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah is involved in drug trafficking in Colombia. The commander of U.S. forces in Latin America is worried about increased Iranian and Hezbollah activities throughout the region. Admiral James Stavridis states, "We have seen in Colombia a direct connection between Hezbollah activity and the narco-trafficking activity.” What is more troubling is the developing relationship between Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez and Iranian madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad and Chavez are self-declared "revolutionaries,” united both by their contempt for the United States. They have declared themselves the Axis of Unity because of their shared goal of destroying the United States.

There are reports that Chavez is training Hezbollah operatives in Venezuela and just several months ago Turkey interdicted a shipment of what they believed were explosives, but were labeled tractor parts, that were heading from Iran to Venezuela. I just wonder what has made it through without being detected. With Iran on the verge of attaining nuclear capability, the United States must be more vigilant with our porous borders with Mexico. The next terrorist attack on the U.S. will most likely originate from our southern border and the terrorist cells may be already here. The narco-war in Mexico is troubling, however it is not as troubling as a WMD attack on an American city.

Senator Dodd's story keeps changing: Blames Obama

Thanks to one of my readers (Pro) for tipping me off to this breaking story video. It seems that Sen. Dodd can't keep his story straight from day to day. Now he seems to be blaming the Obama Administration to save his own ass. This Democratic sitcom gets better and better and I just can't wait for the next shoe to drop. I really wish the media would treat these guys like they treat the Republicans. Sit back and grab a cold beer and see who gets thrown under the bus next.

Phony outrage from phony politicians

Things are not looking good for the Congressional Democrats and the Obama Administration when it comes to the AIG bailout and the bonuses that they approved in their legislation. Democratic Sen. Dodd inserted language known as the Dodd amendment in the $787 billion stimulus bill that allowed all bonuses awarded before February 11, 2009, to be paid to AIG executives. Dodd is now claiming that his amendment did not say that and that somebody else changed it in conference. Really....Well it seems that the more outrage these liberals display, the more guilt ridden they look.

Obama's displayed outrage to the bonuses would make one think that he knew nothing about them in advance. That is not the case. Apple Dumpling Gang member and Treasury Sec. Geitner knew at least a week in advance of the impending bonuses and they still feigned surprise. Since Obama and members of Congress (Dem. & Rep) are so outraged with the bonuses, they should do the right thing and repay AIG for all political donations that they have received. Obama received more than $100K of AIG monies during his short Senate career and Sen. Dodd is the biggest recipient with $103,000 in payoffs.

When you see these phony liberals expressing outrage, whether it is AIG bonuses or Barney Frank’s surprise with Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae’s failure, take it for what it’s worth. These people are corrupt phonies that need to be retired. The good people of Connecticut will have that opportunity with Sen. Dodd in the 2010 midterms. Recent polling shows Dodd in bad shape for his reelection bid and for the sake of Connecticut and America, let us hope he is defeated.

Liberals are guilty of financial fraud

I am sick and tired of the mainstream media elite and the liberals in Congress scream that this financial mess was created by George Bush and his policies. The liberals in Congress and the liberals in the Clinton Administration were the cause of the sub-prime mess that ultimately was the tripwire to the world wide financial collapse. The the blaming of Republicans by the likes of Barney Frank and the apple dumpling gang that now occupies the White House is just an attempt to cover-up their bloody hands in this crime.

Sir Talks-a-lot Biden said Monday that, “This president has inherited the most difficult first 100 days of any president, I would argue, including Franklin Roosevelt,” even if true, Obama inherited this mess from the liberals in congress. Watch the videos very closely and listen to them in their own words and see who failed the American people. This message needs to be preached until the 2010 midterm elections. The media will not tell Americans the truth about the genesis of this fraud and it up to bloggers to spread the truth.

The new Nazism: Is history repeating itself?

The current world economic crisis that envelops the world mirrors to some degree what was happening in 1930’s. While the depression of that era created a lot of suffering throughout the globe it also created an excuse to hate. With Germany still suffering the affects of their defeat of World War One, the global crisis only deepened the despair of the German people.

In 1932, Adolf Hitler came to prominence with his 30.1% showing in the presidential election. Even though the National Socialists never gained a majority of seats in the Reichstag, President Hindenburg appointed Adolf Hitler chancellor of Germany. Hitler’s rise came at the expense of the European Jews in general and German Jews in particular. Hitler and the NSDAP blamed the financial malaise of the German economy on the Jews and the populace ate it up.

Present day Europe seems to be history repeating itself. While anti-Semitism has always had a hold on Europe, the financial crisis seems to be feeding a new rise in far-right groups in Austria. Last September, Austria’s far right gained massive political influence in an election that saw Austria’s Freedom Party (FPO) along with another far right party – Alliance For The Future (BZO) – gain 29 per cent of the vote, the same share as Austria’s main party, the Social Democrats. The election stirred up terrifying memories of the rise of the Nazi Party in the Thirties.

After the FPO’s election victory, Nick Griffin, leader of the British Nationalist Party (BNP), sent a personal message to the FPO’s leader that said, “We in Britain are impressed to see that you have been able to combine principled nationalism with electoral success. We are sure that this gives you a good springboard for the European elections and we hope very much that we will be able to join you in a successful nationalist block in Brussels next year.”

One of the co-founders of the FPO is a former Waffen SS officer and unrepentant Nazi Herbert Schweiger. Mr. Schweiger has stated, “The Jew on Wall Street is responsible for the world’s current economic crisis. It is the same now as in 1929 when 90 per cent of money was in the hands of the Jew. Hitler had the right solutions then.” They blamed the Jews then and they blame the Jews now. Schweiger is a rock star to the anti-semantic groups and he curries much influence with Austrian politicians.

What is the EU doing to curb the rise of neo-Nazi influence in Europe? Not much it appears. The problem is the FPO is doing what the National Socialist Party did in the 1930's and it is all legal. The populace needs a scapegoat and the Jews have always been a favorite target and the extremists are winning at the ballot box. Is history repeating itself within a generation? The world seems to be tone deaf to the phrase "Never Again."

Obama's attempt to destroy SDI

March 23, 1983, Ronald Reagan envisioned America with the ability to protect our people and cities with a missile defense shield and was castigated by the left. George W. Bush amped up that vision with funding ($100 billion since '84) and was castigated by the left. SDI has come a long way since the days of Reagan and the testing of the system is getting better as we advance. Candidate Obama stated he would support such a system if it was a "proven" technology. SDI has demonstrated it's worth through many successful tests. Have there been some failures? Yes, as is the case with all new technology.

The left has never been in favor of the United States being truly superior to our adversaries. Last week, President Obama attempted to trade our future missile defense batteries in Europe in the hope that the Russians would help us with Iran. What the hell is he thinking? Why would Russia help us with Iran. Yes, the Russians loath the idea of us having a missile defense shield on their border and in countries of their sphere of influence. Russian imports with Iran are in the hundreds of billions of dollars which would be lost in the event of an agreement with the U.S. This system will have no affect on Russian deterrence as they could easily overcome the "10" interceptors that would be stationed there.

Mr. Obama has shown his willingness to scrap our defense in favor of some good will from the world community. SDI has come a long way since 1983 and we cannot let it go to waste with President Obama's leftist world views. President Reagan refused to negotiate SDI during the Reykjavik summit with Gorbachev but Obama is willing to just give it away. I sure miss Ronald Reagan.

Socialized health-care is heading your way

Now that Obama has virtual control of the House and Senate, there is really no one to stand in his way to changing our health care system to one that mirrors the Canadian system. Mr. Obama has asked for a $634 billion down payment on universal (socialized) health care. The key word is "down payment,” which translates to trillions more from the American taxpayer for rationed health care. According to The Fraser Institute's annual report "Waiting Your Turn" estimates that Canadians are waiting for nearly 800,000 medical procedures. If the Canadian system was adopted in the U.S. - and you assume one person per treatment - that would translate to nearly 7.3 million Americans. Not 7.3 million Americans theoretically without health care due to a lack of insurance - but 7.3 million Americans who need medical treatment but cannot get it without being on long waiting lists.

I have to put together these short films by Stuart Browning to show the dangers that await us with the new Socialist-Troika that is now in charge. Stuart has done a great job exposing the truth about a "single-payer" system that Obama and the liberals are pushing. The time is now to contact your Representives and Senators and express your outrage with what the liberals are trying to cram down our collective necks. I encourage all of my Canadian and European readers to comment on your experiences with a socialized health care system in your respective countries. Take a few minutes to watch these videos, because if you stay uninformed, you may be forced into a system that could cost you your life.

Allowing Iran to obtain nukes will be 21st Century Sudetenland

The time has come for the world to make a firm decision in regards to Iran and their nuclear weapons program. The U.N. announced recently that they understated the amount of enriched uranium that Iran has stockpiled by a third. In a report issued in Vienna, the International Atomic Energy Agency said it had discovered an additional 460 pounds of low-enriched uranium which would give Iran more than a ton of yellow cake. According to Nuclear weapon experts, Iran now has sufficient yellowcake, with added purification, to make a nuclear weapon. Iran is not stopping there as they have increased their centrifuge’s capacity from about 5000 in November to 6000 today.

What is troubling is the fact that the world community has done virtually nothing to stop the Iranian nuclear threat. The last U.N. resolution aimed at discouraging the Persians was last spring and now the IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei, has stated that Iran and Syria may be hiding atomic activities. It has been reported today that President Obama offered to scrap our missile defense shield in Europe if the Russians help contain Iran. The Russians are 90% responsible for the nuclear threat emanating from the Gulf. Russia has built and supplied the technology to the Iranians so that one day they could wipe Israel off the map. Russia supplies Iran with weapons to protect their nuclear infrastructure and also provides weapons so that Iran can arm Hamas and Hezbollah.

President Obama campaigned that he would have direct talks with Iran to defuse the situation in the Middle-East. The Obama administration now has concluded that a diplomatic overture to Iran is unlikely to persuade Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions. That leaves the world three options. Option one. Continue to do nothing and let Iran obtain nuclear capability then hope for the best. Option two. Have a complete naval blockade of Iran, allowing only food stuffs to enter. Option three. Let the Israelis attack Iran and support them vigorously. The Iranians have promised to shut the Strait of Hormuz and strike American military bases in the region if they are attacked. They have also threatened to strike oil fields in Saudi Arabia's Eastern province and other areas in the region.

It is time to give Benjamin Netanyahu the green light to launch a massive aerial assault on Iran’s nuclear complex. The Obama Administration should order three American carrier groups to that region as a precaution to Iranian retaliatory strikes on our allies and to assure the free flow of oil. I realize the dangers to the region and the world with such an operation, but the dangers will be much worse if we allow Iran to continue. Allowing Iran to obtain nuclear weapons would be akin to allowing Hitler to re-take the Sudetenland. It would give them a false sense of power and they will use that power to destroy Israel.
