Obama's poll numbers continue to slide

Americans are continuing to awake from their Obama Kool Aid induced coma and the polls are reflecting this fact. In the Democrats and Obama's zeal to impose their socialized health care upon America, they are now looking to impose new taxes on everything under the sun. Obama and the Democratic-controlled Congress already have increased tobacco taxes, which hit the poor disproportionately, to pay for extending health coverage to 4 million children in working low-income families. It now appears that they want impose $104 billion in new taxes on sugary drinks and alcohol. So much for no new taxes on the middle-class.

According to the AP, Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said negotiators are looking for revenue alternatives. Asked during an interview with The Associated Press whether they include tax increases on families with incomes less than $250,000 a year, Schumer said, "There are lots of things on the table now." What exactly does "there are lot of things on the table now" mean. It means that they lied about taxes on the middle-class and everything is now taxable. If the Cap and Tax bill passes in the Senate and is reconciled with the House , taxes will increase for everyone that uses energy. Unless you live like a caveman in a mud hut, your taxes will increase exponentially.

President Obama's poll numbers continue to slide according the respected Rasmussen polling group. According to Rasmussen, " Forty-eight percent (48%) say the President is doing a good or excellent job on national security issues. That’s down four points from a week ago and the first time his numbers have dipped below 50% on the national security front." If Obama ever gets any real scrutiny from the media, I am sure those numbers will fall at a much faster rate.

Rasmussen goes on to state that the Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 35% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty percent (30%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +5. By comparison, George W. Bush had about a 13% higher numbers than the Messiah at this time in office. You have take into account that Bush was hated by the media and was being accused of "stealing" the election from the Global-Warming freak AlGore. The hostile press that Bush had to endure and the fawning press Obama now receives would actually make that 13% even more impressive.
