Democrats and Republicans Defy Obama on Iran--New Video Exposes Iranian Deceit

The Obama White House is scrambling (again) to prevent the US Senate from introducing new legislation that could raise sanctions on Iran.  Team Obama was surprised to learn that more than a quarter of the Senate introduced new legislation that could re-impose sanctions on Iran in the event Iran reneges on agreements made last month.

The Obama administration fought a fierce battle with Senate leaders earlier this month to prevent new sanctions from being introduced.  The White House achieved some success earlier this month when they got Democratic Senator Tim Johnson, chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, to agree to not move legislation forward through his committee.

The administration was blindsided with the new push in the Senate because the move was bipartisan.  13 Democrats and 13 Republicans sponsored the new sanctions legislation.  Democratic Senators usually stand with President Obama on most issues, however, many Democrats are skeptical of Obama's deal with the Iranians.

Everyone with half a brain is leery of President Obama's naive overtures to Iran.  Israel is rightly unnerved by Obama's entreaties to the clerics in Tehran and sees Obama's secret negotiations he conducted with Iran as a slap in the face.  Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and just about every nation in the Arab world fear Obama is making a Neville Chamberlain type mistake.

The Middle East Media Research Institute just published a video exposing the deception by the Iranians.  Syrian TV interviewed Mohammad Sadeq Al-Hosseini, advisor to former Iranian President Khatami, and during the interview Al-Hosseini bragged about how the Iranians have fooled Obama.  Al-Hosseini relates how the Iranians have produced more uranium than they actually need; anticipating that negotiations with the West will require them to relinquish a part of their stockpile.

Al-Hosseini goes on to state in the interview….“when you conduct negotiations with Iran, you lose even when you think you won.”  Obama will claim victory when he gets Iran to agree to relinquish some of their stockpiles of uranium, but the Iranians will be the actual victors because they will retain enough yellow cake to produce a nuclear warhead.

One would think the President of the United States would be smart enough not to trust the Iranians.  Obama should be aware that Islam permits lying to deceive unbelievers.  There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman.  These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam and in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.

I applaud the Democratic Senators for crossing the aisle and joining the Republicans in an effort to keep pressure on the Iranians.  Obama has promised to veto any legislation that seeks to threaten future sanctions on Iran and I have no doubt that he would make good on that promise.  President Obama’s useless negotiations with the Iranians may well cause the deaths of millions, or at the very least start an arms race in that volatile region.

Can The West Tolerate A Nuclear Iran? History Says No!

This is an excellent article by Norman Podhoretz in the Wall Street Journal.  In his WSJ opinion piece, Mr Podhoretz exposes the dangers of President Obama's Neville Chamberlain style foreign policy regarding the Iranians nuclear weapons drive.  One could argue that European leaders are at fault as well, however, they are just following Obama's lead.

Podhoretz reminds us of what the father of modern day radical Islam had to say about wiping out Israel.  Ayatollah Khomeini, who brought the Islamist revolution to Iran in 1979, had this to say in 1981: "We do not worship Iran, we worship Allah. . . . I say let this land [Iran] go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world."

Khomeini wasn't the only Iranian leader to share his honest views about annihilating Israel with a nuclear strike.  So called "moderate" Hashemi Rafsanjani, in an Al-Quds Day sermon at Tehran University on Dec. 14, 2001 said this: "Application of an atomic bomb would not leave anything in Israel, but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world."

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the holocaust denying former Iranian president, has been the most vocal Iranian proponent for wiping out Israel.  On Israel's 60th birthday, Ahmadinejad said this to all that would listen:

"Those who think they can revive the stinking corpse of the usurping and fake Israeli regime by throwing a birthday party are seriously mistaken. Today the reason for the Zionist regime's existence is questioned, and this regime is on its way to annihilation."

Ahmadinejad also stated that Israel "has reached the end like a dead rat after being slapped by the Lebanese." Later, he said: "The Zionist regime is dying," and "The criminals imagine that by holding celebrations (...) they can save the Zionist regime from death." Ahmadinejad also stated that "They should know that regional nations hate this fake and criminal regime and if the smallest and briefest chance is given to regional nations they will destroy (it)"

In July 2012, ahead of Qods Day, Ahmadinejad said that "any freedom lover and justice seeker in the world must do its best for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the path for the establishment of justice and freedom in the world," and that the ultimate objective of world forces must be the annihilation of the "Zionist regime".

Ahmadinejad added that “the Zionist regime is both the symbol of the hegemony of the Zionism over the world and the means in the hand of the oppressor powers for expansion of their hegemony in the region and in the world” and that "liberating Palestine" would solve all of the world's problems. Ahmadinejad also made allegations that Zionists control the world's media and financial systems, and that a "horrible Zionist current" had been managing world affairs for "about 400 years."

In August of 2012, at an annual protest against the existence of Israel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that "the very existence of the Zionist regime is an insult to humanity" and that "the Zionist regime and the Zionists are a cancerous tumor. Even if one cell of them is left in one inch of (Palestinian) land, in the future this story (of Israel's existence) will repeat."

Ahmadinejad also said that Israel would soon be finished off, and that “the nations of the region will soon finish off the usurper Zionists in the Palestinian land". Ahmadinejad added that "it is dangerous if even 10% of the territory is given to the Zionists." Ahmadinejad also said, "The western powers cannot tolerate criticism of the Zionist regime. They feel compelled to defend it."

President Obama has staked his Iranian policy on the goodwill of new Iranian President  Hassan Rouhani.  The claim that Hassan Rouhani is a “moderate,” with whom Western leaders can do business on the basis of mutual self-interest is naive and somewhat foolish at best, and at worst dangerous and stupid.

Rouhani’s resume includes the bombing of a Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires in 1994, which took 85 lives, and of the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia in1996, in which 19 American soldiers were killed. He refuses to acknowledge that the Holocaust happened, and claims that in any case it is something only historians should be concerned with.

Rouhani has also called Israel “a wound” on the Middle East that must be removed. His boast about deceiving the West into believing that Iran, from 2003 to 2005, had stopped enriching uranium is well known.

As a young cleric Hassan Rouhani started his political activities by following the Ayatollah Khomenini during the beginning of the Iranian Islamist movement and joined the Ayatollah in France in later years.  During the student protests in 1999, Rouhani was then secretary of Supreme National Security Council, and he stated at a pro-government rally that "At dusk yesterday we received a decisive revolutionary order to crush mercilessly and monumentally any move of these opportunist elements wherever it may occur. From today our people shall witness how in the arena our law enforcement force . . . shall deal with these opportunists and riotous elements, if they simply dare to show their faces."

Hassan Rouhani may not be as vocal about annihilating the state of Israel as past Iranian leaders, but don't be fooled, he is anything but moderate.  Obama and European leaders wish things to be what they're not, rather than what they are.  Western leaders want Rouhani to be a clear thinking, peace loving moderate and they are willing to throw the Israelis to the wolves in order to avoid what must be done.

Norman Podhoretz ends his article with words of wisdom to those (Obama, Europeans) that think Iran will end their nuclear ambitions through negotiations, or that somehow the world can tolerate a nuclear Iran.  Podhoretz writes....

"And so my counsel to proponents of the new consensus is to consider the unspeakable horrors that would then be visited not just on Israel and Iran but on the entire region and beyond. The destruction would be far worse than any imaginable consequences of an Israeli conventional strike today when there is still a chance to put at least a temporary halt, and conceivably even a permanent one, to the relentless Iranian quest for the bomb."

I couldn't agree more Mr. Podhoretz.

Obama's 'Peace In Our Time' Moment....Will Jews Suffer The Same Fate?

Much like the Munich Agreement, the country that had the most to lose was left out of the negotiations.  In 1938 it was Czechoslovakia that was left out of the process and it was Israel that was thrown to the wolves in 2013.  The 1938 Munich Agreement was a settlement permitting Nazi Germany's annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia along the country's borders mainly inhabited by German speakers, for which a new territorial designation "Sudetenland" was coined.

With the 2013 agreement with Iran the Obama White House has assured the world that the few sanctions eased in the deal can be restored, and the United States has vowed to keep the pressure on Iran over the next six months.  The problem with this deal is the fact you can’t trust the Iranians.  The Iranians were on the verge of economic collapse because of the biting sanctions, but President Obama threw a lifeline to the mullahs and gave them a new lease on life.

Obama wanted a deal with the Iranians so bad he was willing to throw the Israelis to the lions.  Obama wanted to divert attention from his many domestic scandals and he no doubt thinks this ‘peace in our time’ agreement will the Iranians will do the trick.  The Jerusalem Post said it best today when they pointed out Obama’s military deterrence has been deflated and his “administration’s credibility is too badly damaged in the region to cause either Riyadh or Jerusalem to trust the White House’s assurances.”

The behind the scenes secret talks between the Obama administration and the Iranians might well have been the final straw with Prime Minister Netanyahu.  Obama has thrown Israel under the proverbial bus so many times during his five years in office I’m surprised Bibi still communicates with this White House.  Saudi Arabia and Egypt have already dismissed Obama as an unreliable partner, but Israel is more reliant on U.S. military and financial support than the other two nations.

Over six million unarmed Jews were murdered at the hands of a mad man during the course of World War Two, simply because of the naivete of a western leader.  Today six million Jews in Israel now find themselves in the same danger; luckily, the Jews in the 21st century have the ability and determination to protect themselves.

Obamacare Navigators Caught Persuading Applicants to Lie

Investigative videographer James O’Keefe does it again.  O'Keefe's 'Project Veritas' has exposed Obamacare navigators persuading applicants to lie about health status and unreported income.  According to a National Review article, the total value of grants doled out for 'nonprofits' and community organizations to hire navigators has topped $67 million nationwide, and some of the money is going to a group run by ACORN’s highly controversial founder.

One Obamacare navigator is caught telling an applicant to lie about his health status and how to defraud t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶e̶d̶e̶r̶a̶l̶ ̶g̶o̶v̶e̶r̶n̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ you the taxpayer. “You lie because your premiums will be higher,” one navigator advises an investigator for O’Keefe’s Project Veritas, who tells the worker he sometimes smokes. “Don’t tell them that. Don’t tell ’em.”

Other Obamacare navigators instruct applicants to lie about unreported income. Many of these people are no doubt the same Obama ACORN community organizers that were caught defrauding the taxpayers a few years ago and now they are getting taxpayer dollars again to cheat the system again. It seems everything about Barack Milhous Obama is dirty.  You can take the man out of Chicago, but you can't take Chicago out of the man.

Billionaires and Members of Congress Make Millions Off Farm Bill Subsidies

According to a report from the Environmental Working Group, federal farm subsidies were paid to fifty billionaires and other businesses in which the billionaires held a financial stake, and their payouts are about to increase if proposed changes to the farm bill are passed.

Newsmax reports that the billionaires who received the $11.3 million in farm subsidies from 1995-2012 have a $316 billion collective net worth.  The identities of those making money from farm subsidies was determined when the Environmental Working Group matched its Farm Subsidy Database with the Forbes 400 list of the richest people in America

A few of the most notable names on the list includes Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft; Charles Ergen, co-founder of Dish Network; Penny Pritzker, U.S. commerce secretary; and S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A according to Newsmax.  I decided to dig a little deeper to find out who benefits from these billionaires political donations.

Charles Ergen appears to be the second most active in his political donations and all individual donations, with the exception of a couple of bones thrown to John McCain & Joe Barton, went to Democrats.  Ergen donated at least $310,664 to politicians and political action committees.

Paul Allen donated almost $90,000 and he greased the skids of both Republican and Democratic politicians.  Obama's Commerce Secretary Penny Sue Pritzker was the most active in her political donations and all of her money went to various Democrats.  Pritzker donated at least $325,000 to Democrats from 2008 through 2014 election cycles.  S. Truett Cathy donated the least amount of cash to politicians.  Mitt Romney and Pat Toomey received a grand total of $3,500 from the Chic-fil-A founder.

If we are willing to cull three to five million Americans from the welfare rolls, we also must be willing to cut the farm subsidies for billionaires.  It should also be illegal for members of Congress to benefit from federal farm subsidies.

Fifteen members of the U.S. House and Senate or their spouses benefited from federal farm subsidies last year.  Fourteen Republican lawmakers received over $7 million since 2004 in subsidies.   If you would like to contact the federal lawmakers in charge the farm bill, follow this LINK
