United States Navy, Russian Navy and Iranian Terrorist Regime Prepares for War

There are signs that President Obama may order an attack on Syria with or without congressional approval. The US ordered the withdrawal of non-emergency workers and their families from the embassy in Beirut and the consulate general in Adana, southeast Turkey. 

According to the Wall Street Journal, The United States has intercepted an order from Iran to militants in Iraq to attack the U.S. Embassy and other American interests in Baghdad if President Obama strikes Syria, so I guess the Obama administration is assuming Hezbollah may do the same in Lebanon.

US Military officials have been trying to predict the range of possible responses from Syria, Iran and their allies. U.S. officials said they are on alert for Iran's fleet of small, fast boats in the Persian Gulf, where American warships are positioned.

The Daily Caller is reporting that Iran is vowing to back Bashar al-Assad’s regime to the hilt and threatening to unleash terrorism should the U.S. strike.  Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds Forces, said Wednesday that “we will support Syria to the end.”

The Daily Caller goes on to state that a former Iranian official has warned of mass abductions and brutal killings of American citizens around the world and the rape and killing of one of Obama’s daughters should the United States attack Syria.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is making moves in the region to counter the United States Navy's war-footing.  The Nu-Soviets are sending an aircraft carrier group to shore up the guided-missile cruiser Moskva and the naval task force that's already in the region.  

The Russian naval task force that is already in the region includes a destroyer and a frigate.  Russian officials said that the intelligence and reconnaissance ship Priazovye was being sent from the Black Sea to the eastern Mediterranean and would operate separately from the naval task force.  

The United States has deployed the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier and four other ships in its strike group earlier this week into the Red Sea.  The US strike group had not received any orders to move into the Mediterranean, where five US destroyers and an amphibious ship remain poised for possible cruise missile strikes against Syria.  

The nuclear-powered Nimitz is accompanied by the Princeton, a cruiser, and three destroyers – the William P. Lawrence, Stockdale and Shoup. The US Navy doubled its presence in the eastern Mediterranean in the past week, effectively adding two destroyers to the three that generally patrol the region.  The destroyers are carrying a combined load of about 200 Tomahawk missiles, but officials say a limited strike on Syria could be accomplished with half that number.

In Washington a sharply divided Senate committee voted Wednesday to give President Obama limited authority to use force against Syria, but it remains to be seen if the House will follow suit.   The vote by the Senate Foreign Relations Committe was 10 to 7.   Two liberal Senate Democrats voted against the resolution, one liberal Senator voted present and three Republicans voted for the resolution.

The full Senate will vote next week on the resolution after Congress returns from recess and there is a good chance the House will refuse their support for the resolution.  President Obama has refused to rule out attacking Syria without the backing of Congress, as new polls show he faces a crushing defeat in any vote in the House of Representatives.

Obama Cannot Create Laws Through Executive Order

Vice President Biden has said Obama may well impose new gun control laws with the stroke of a pen, thus avoiding a heated fight with Congress.  President Obama is not the first president to invoke Executive Orders and he won’t be the last.  U.S. Presidents have issued Executive Orders since the 1780’s and usually they were issued to help officers and agencies of the executive branch manage the operations within the federal government itself. 

There is no Constitutional provision or statute per se that unequivocally permits executive orders, however, there is a vague grant of "executive power" given in Article II, Section 1, Clause 1 of the Constitution.  There were no rules governing the use of Executive Orders until 1952.  In 1952 the Supreme Court ruled in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer, 343 US 579 (1952) that Executive Order 10340 from President Harry S. Truman placing all steel mills in the country under federal control was invalid because it ATTEMPTED TO MAKE LAW, RATHER THAN CLARIFY OR ACT TO FURTHER A LAW PUT FORTH BY THE CONGRESS OR THE CONSTITUTION.

Before the Youngstown v. Sawyer Supreme Court ruling, some Presidents used EO’s with impunity.  FDR used an Executive Order (EO 9066) to grant authority to the military to forcibly intern Japanese-Americans for the duration of WWII.  Article 1, Section 1 of the Constitution is a vesting clause, granting all the federal government's legislative authority to Congress.  The Vesting Clause establishes the principle of separation of powers by specifically giving to each branch of the federal government only those powers it can exercise and no others.  This means that no branch may exercise powers that properly belong to another (e.g., since the legislative power is only vested in Congress, the executive and judiciary may not enact laws).

Article 1, Sec 1 should legally prevent President Obama from making new gun-control laws through Executive Order because the Constitution gives that authority to Congress.  The Tenth Amendment should also prevent the Obama regime from being able to force their new gun laws down the throats of the 50 states.  The Mack-Printz v. United States ruling in 1997 declared that the states or their political subdivisions “are not subject to federal direction.” The issue of federal authority is defined even further in this most powerful Tenth Amendment decision. 

Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack and Montana Sheriff Jay Printz sued the Clinton administration because of the unconstitutionality of certain interim provisions of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act.  The opinion of the majority of the Supreme Court in the Mack/Printz decision reestablished states rights granted to them by the Tenth Amendment.  Justice Scalia opined for the majority stating, “…the Constitution’s conferral upon Congress of not all governmental powers, but only discreet, enumerated ones.”  Scalia went on to state, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution…are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” 

To clarify this point, we need to understand that the powers and jurisdiction granted to the federal government are few, precise, and expressly defined. The feds have their assignments within constitutional boundaries and the states have theirs, as well. Scalia also mentions this, “It is incontestable that the Constitution established a system of dual sovereignty” and that the states retained “a residuary and inviolable sovereignty.”

Scalia even goes so far as to detail who is responsible to keep the federal government in their proper place, if or when they decide to go beyond their allotted authority. In doing so he quotes James Madison, considered to be the father of our Constitution, “The local or municipal authorities form distinct and independent portions of the supremacy, no more subject, within their respective spheres, to the general authority [federal government] than the general authority is subject to them, within its own sphere.” (The Federalist # 39).

I don’t want to predict what Obama will do through Executive Order, but if he tries to make new gun control laws with the stroke of a pen, we have precedent on our side to prevent it.  Of course that precedent doesn’t mean a thing unless we have some real patriots that are willing to take on the mighty Obama regime.

Afghanistan could be Obama's Mogadishu.

As President Obama dithers with the decision as to whether to increase troop levels, recommended by General McChrystal, Afghanistan and Pakistan are spiraling out of control. After five meetings with his war council, Obama is still said to be weeks away from making a final decision in regards to his war strategy. President Obama is beginning to resemble President Clinton and his failed leadership during the Mogadishu
ambush that saw 18 dead and 77 wounded American soldiers. At that time, it was becoming clear that the situation on the ground was deteriorating and Gen. Thomas Montgomery was requesting reinforcements, air support and armored vehicles which was denied by then Sec. of Defense Les Aspin. The resulting carnage saw the images of dead American soldiers being dragged through Somali streets.

President Obama needs to do more than make a decision of sending forty thousand additional troops, he must change the rules of engagement that are preventing our soldiers from obtaining victory on the ground. Some of these new rules require our troops to break away from fights with militants hiding among villagers and obtain permission of homeowners to search for terrorists that may be hiding in their homes. Reading the Miranda Warning to terrorists on the battlefield will not make a us a safer country and does not help our troops.

Taliban attacks in Pakistan are increasing at an alarming rate and are coinciding with the threatened Pakistan offensive on the Waziristan region. This Pakistani offensive must take place to disrupt Taliban and Al Qaeda forces from cross border raids into Afghanistan against NATO troops. In a perfect world, this offensive would coincide with the additional American forces pushing towards the Pakistani border to eliminate the retreating Jihadists from the Waziristan region. This multi assault would do more to ensure victory for American and Pakistan forces than anything else. Would it end the war that is currently raging on both sides of the border. No it would not, but it would severely damage the offensive capabilities of the enemy and most likely kill or capture the brain trust of the terrorists.

As we wait for President Obama’s grandiose new war plan, NATO troops are losing their lives at an increasing rate and the Taliban are in control of even more territory within Afghanistan. Unless Mr. Obama decides to let the Generals run the war and do what is necessary to win, he will increasingly begin to look like President Clinton and his failure in Somalia. That defeat and others overseen by the Clinton Administration is what emboldened Osama Bin Laden to launch his global jihad against a perceived weakened United States. I don’t have much faith in Obama and his civilian war council, but I pray that they do the right thing and try to win this war. If he is unwilling or unable to allow our military to win this battle and give them the tools to accomplish their mission, I surmise that we should leave the field of battle. Another defeat for America and more terrorist attacks on a perceived weakened nation will surely come if Obama fails to lead.

OBAMA FUMBLES MISSILE DEFENSE TO THE RUSSIANS

The Obama Administrations recent abandonment of the Ground-based Mid-course Defense system in Europe and to instead concentrate on medium-range missiles, such as THAAD, PAC 3, and the sea-based Aegis system is short sited and dangerous. The Ground-based Mid-course Defense (GMD) system has had many successful tests and when integrated with the sea-based X-Band radar can differentiate between warheads and decoys. The short/medium range systems (THAAD, PAC 3, Aegis) should be deployed in theater along with the GMD system to supplement and form a global and layered defense.

The Obama Administration states new information has led them to believe that only short and medium range missiles are a threat from the Persian Nazis at this time. At this very moment that may be true but we need to concentrate on the very near future because Iran continues to forge ahead with long range missile development. The current Shabah-3 missile under development and testing in Iran has an estimated range of 900-1200 miles and if accurate, could target some Western European countries and Israel.

If Iran ever masters solid fuel rocket technology rather than just liquid fuel, their missile range and payload would greatly expand to include long range nuclear ICBM's. The Shabah 3 has been developed over the last ten years and owes it's design to the North Koreans No-Dong missile that was exported to Iran and Pakistan. It may or may not take the Iranians another 10 years to develop long range missiles that can hit the United States mounted with a nuclear warhead.

While Obama cuts America's missile defense budget by $1.4 billion, or 15 percent, for fiscal 2010, the Iranians are on the threshold of producing nuclear warheads. Instead of liquidating our Ground Based mid-course defense system, we need to continue testing and fund development of the system to protect America from ALL nuclear armed countries that may threaten us.

Obama's moment of truth-The future is watching

A day after North Korea has once again snubbed their nose at Obama and the international community, the world remains powerless. It appears that Kim Jong Ill has lit at least one nuke and launched an ICBM capable of reaching US territory. Under a six-party deal with the United States, China, Japan, South Korea and Russia in 2007, North Korea agreed to scrap its weapons-grade nuclear programs for energy aid. How many times are we going to give this piss-poor country energy in exchange for a worthless "agreement." I say it is time to take off the gloves and get serious with North Korea.

President Obama needs to put North Korea back on the state sponsor of terrorism list Tuesday morning and scrap all energy and food aid to the Korean peninsula immediately. Dictator Kim needs to know that any future launch of an ICBM will be knocked out of the air with our Aegis warships and any subsequent attack on South Korea will be met by an unrelenting counter air attack. Mr. Obama must know that the Iranians are watching our reaction to N. Korea and are taking notes. Keep in mind the cooperation between N. Korea and Iran and the data they share on nuclear matters.

Mr. Obama's weak comments on the subject will only encourage N. Korea and Iran in their pursuit of a fully operational nuclear arsenal. Israel is observing Obama and the international community response as well because their lives depend on a tough response.
The Obama Administration has put pressure on Israel to reign in any attack on Iran's nuclear complex in the hopes that Ahmadinjad will suddenly respond to reason. Iran will see the weak response from Obama and the UN as a green light to manufacture their nuclear tipped missiles with no consequence.

The North Korean situation will not only affect North East Asia but also the volatile Middle East region as well. Kim has already tried to spread his new found technology to Syria and is working with Iran to bolster their nuclear threat. It is time to take off the kid gloves in regards to N. Korea and allow Israel (with our assistance) a preemptive attack on Iran's nuclear complex.
Dictators and tyrants do not respect agreements-They only respect power. This is not a time for a paper tiger, Carter-esque foreign policy-It is a time for a "big stick" policy. Mr. Obama, this is your time to lead-The future is watching!

Can Obama negotiate with the 12th Imam?

The 12th Imam prophecy should be taken into account when discussing future military budgets and current diplomatic overtures towards Iran in general and Ahmadinejad in particular. Let me explain the 12th Imam prophecy that the Shia (Iran) subscribe and the dangers that come with this belief. The Shia prophesies that there is a coming 12th Imam who is the great spiritual savior with the name Abu al-Qasim Muhammad or also called Muhammad al Mahdi. Most accounts of the story say that al Mahdi (12th Imam) went into hiding as a child around the age of five years old in the 13th Century. Ahmadinejad believes that Mahdi is hiding in a well somewhere and will supernaturally return just before the Day of Judgment.

According to Shia Islam, the criteria for the Hidden Imam are as follows: He will be a descendant of Muhammad and the son of Fatima-Will have a broad forehead and pointed nose-Will return just before the end of the world-His appearance will be preceded by a number of prophetic events during 3 years of horrendous world chaos, tyranny and oppression-Will escape from Medina to Mecca, thousands will pledge allegiance to him-Will rule over the Arabs and the world for 7 years-Will eradicate all tyranny and oppression bringing harmony and total peace-Will lead a prayer in Mecca which Jesus will be at his side.

You may be asking yourself why this prophecy is important to the United States and our national security. The importance arises from the fact that the Obama Administration blindly believes that it can negotiate with an apocalyptic leader. President Ahmadinejad and his cabinet say they have a ‘signed contract’ with al Mahdi in which they pledge themselves to his work. What does this work involve? According to their own prophecy, there must be world chaos for the Imam to return. The strides that Iran is making in regards to their nuclear ambitions will soon come to fruition and will then be able to “wipe Israel off the face of the map.” That would be the start of the chaos needed to bring about the stupid kid hiding in the well.

An apocalyptic regime will not negotiate away the very instrument (nuclear weapon) they need to bring about their prophecy. The liberals would have us think that Iran and Muslims dislike Americans because of George W. Bush and his mean policies. Radical Muslims “hate” us because we are not Muslim and it is that simple. Iran will to continue to use their terrorist proxies to attack Americans and Israelis and will most likely provide some sort of WMD to accomplish their work. Mr. Obama should not allow the Iranians to continue to stall a military response on their nuclear complex and that is exactly what Obama is doing with negotiations. Obama and Congressional Democrats are proposing the gutting of the very systems (SDI, F-22) that we will need to protect us now and in the future. The world is entering the most dangerous time in our history with a gullible neophyte at the helm.

Liberal-Socialists are usually successful at hiding their true beliefs, but sometimes they let their words slip and show their true colors. These three videos are just a small example of their socialistic leanings and distaste for a strong foreign policy and traditional values. The Congressional Black Caucus that just returned from Cuba spoke glowingly of Fidel Castro and the Communist Cuban lifestyle. It seems that everyday Obama is in office, the more the liberals let their guard down and reveal who they really are. With the recent Rasmussen poll that reveals only 53% of American adults believe capitalism is better than socialism it is no wonder that liberals feel more emboldened. I feel this country is on a crash course with the socialistic mistakes of the past. God help us!

Socialized health-care is heading your way

Now that Obama has virtual control of the House and Senate, there is really no one to stand in his way to changing our health care system to one that mirrors the Canadian system. Mr. Obama has asked for a $634 billion down payment on universal (socialized) health care. The key word is "down payment,” which translates to trillions more from the American taxpayer for rationed health care. According to The Fraser Institute's annual report "Waiting Your Turn" estimates that Canadians are waiting for nearly 800,000 medical procedures. If the Canadian system was adopted in the U.S. - and you assume one person per treatment - that would translate to nearly 7.3 million Americans. Not 7.3 million Americans theoretically without health care due to a lack of insurance - but 7.3 million Americans who need medical treatment but cannot get it without being on long waiting lists.

Stuart has done a great job exposing the truth about a "single-payer" system that Obama and the liberals are pushing. Is the honeymoon over?

Obama's first two weeks in office is getting off to bumpy ride and I think it is safe to say the honeymoon is over. President Obama started off with a record 83% approval rating-two short weeks later-64% approval. Why you ask. Obama's nominee's for cabinet seats are like a who's who list of tax cheats that are above the law. The bipartisan rejection of the pork laden "stimulus" bill has got Americans really looking into what really is in this bill. Public support for the bill has fallen 12 points since January, and nearly half of those surveyed do not believe it will shorten the recession.

You will not read in the MSM about Obama's falling approval ratings as you would of former Pres. Bush. It seemed that the MSM had daily rants about Bush's low approval ratings and nary a mention about the single digit Democratic controlled Congress approval ratings. Did you know that polls indicate some of Obama's early actions have gone against the tide of public opinion.
It is reported that Americans disagree with Obama's decision to close Guantanamo by 50 to 44 percent. Gallop polling indicates that 58 percent of voters believe it was a mistake for Obama to lift the federal ban on tax monies going to overseas family planning groups that provide abortions.

Are Americans starting to awake from the Obama Worship Syndrome that inflicted them at the voting booth? As I have stated before, Obama and the left will misread the election results and overreach with their socialist agenda. The mere fact that they are trying to pass this pork bill with a straight face is the epitome of overreach. The Iranians have shot down Obama's unclenched fist diplomacy with the same rhetoric that faced the previous administration. The Obama loving (we were told) Europeans are threatening an international trade war because of the "American only" clause in the pork bill. I think Obama is now realizing that being president is a lot harder than just giving a good speech. Is Obama really ready for prime time?

The American Pork and Liberal Payoff Act of 2009

The House has began debates today on the pork barrel "stimulus" package, minus the Nancy Pelosi $200 million family planning boondoggle. This bill is laden with liberal pork that will do nothing to stimulate jobs but only payoff the liberal base for future support. If you read the above quote from Rahm Emanuel, you can judge for yourself what the Democrats are trying to do. They are using the fear of the recession to put this bill on the fast track and grow the Federal government and reward the likes of ACORN. As follows are just some examples of where your tax monies will be going:

$1 billion for Amtrak (Amtrak hasn't turned a profit in 40 years)
$2 billion for child care subsidies.
$50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts.
$400 million for global-warming research.
$2.4 million for carbon-capture demonstration projects.
$650 million on top of the billions already paid out for digital TV conversion coupons.
$40 million for ACORN (Obama's foot soldiers during the election)
$20 million for sod for the National Mall
$600 million for the Federal government to buy new cars.

According to the Wall Street Journal, "some $30 billion, or less than 5% of the spending bill, is for fixing bridges or other highway projects" and I thought this bill was supposed to create jobs. Another $252 billion is for income-transfer payments which are not investments at all, but cash or benefits for people that do not contribute at all. Is the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act a stimulus package or pork? Contact your member of Congress and demand that they do not vote for this bill and if they do vote for this bill, make sure you help them retire at the next election.

The Democratic Party corruption crime spree

The liberal Democratic Party and their lapdogs in the media love to scream that Republicans are corrupt and can't be trusted. Those charges seem confusing with the latest corrupt Democratic politician, Illinois Gov. Blagojevich, that was taken into custody today by the FBI amid allegations of seeking financial favors in the replacement of the Messiah-elect’s Senate seat.

Among the many allegations against Gov. Blagojevich which include him stating on a FBI surveillance audio, “if....they’re not going to offer anything of value, then I might just take it myself.” Governor Blago also goes on to state, “unless I get something real good for [Senate Candidate], shit, I’ll just send myself, you know what I’m saying.” Blago later stated, “I’m going to keep this Senate option for me a real possibility, you know, and therefore I can drive a hard bargain. You hear what I’m saying. And if I don’t get what I want and I’m not satisfied with it, then I’ll just take it myself.” Blago then stated the Senate seat “is a fucking valuable thing, you don’t just give it away for nothing.”

There are many more allegations against the fine Governor that read like a novel. The breadth of the corruption in this case is just amazing and it does not stop with this liberal Democrat. Just ousted Louisiana Rep. William Jefferson has been indicted for bribery and money laundering
that involves $90,000 of bribe money found by federal agents in Mr. Jefferson’s freezer. Jefferson is also accused of misusing his congressional seat to take bribes from African countries for special favors. Jefferson faces 235 years in prison if convicted on all charges and he has promised there is an “honorable explanation” for the money in his freezer. That is certainly comforting to know!

Not to be outdone in the corruption crime spree, current House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep Charles Rangel is under a cloud of suspicion with his lack of ethics. The House Ethics Committee was already investigating Chairman Rangel’s myriad financial disclosure problems, but the latest revelation from the New York Times that Rangel met with donors to the Charles B. Rangel Center at City College who also had a tax policy issue before Congress. There are calls for Rangel to step down from his Chairmanship post but I would suggest he resign from Congress altogether.

Other prominent Liberal Democratic players involved in corruption and ethic lapses are as follows:
NY Gov. Spitzer, resigned his office to avoid prosecution for his affairs with prostitutes and sex rings. Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-Fla) was ousted by voters for his extramarital affair with a staffer and promise to pay her $121,000 to avoid a lawsuit. This is the same Tim Mahoney that narrowly won in 2006 on a “faith, family and personal responsibility” platform after longtime Republican Mark Foley was forced out by the RNC for sexual messages to teenage pages. Jim Johnson, former Obama advisor and Fannie Mae Chairman presided over a $10 Billion financial scandal at Fannie Mae and has yet to face any repercussions for the scandal. It is worth noting that Mr. Johnson was paid $90 Million for his stewardship of Fannie Mae.

There are too many other liberal Democratic players in this corruption crime spree to mention and I do not deny that Republicans have their share of crooks. The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that we pressure our rats to step down. As Limbaugh likes to say, “corruption in the Democratic Party is a resume enhancer.” The AP story that I read about Gov. Blago never mentioned that he was a Democrat and in most if not all cases, when a Democrat is accused of corruption, you have to really search to find their party affiliation. When a Republican is accused, the media will highlight the Republicans party affiliation and make it is headline news.

Obama and his political positioning

Change that we can believe in?

Back in March, during the Democratic primaries, Obama repeatedly denounced NAFTA and tried to out-liberal Hillary Clinton and win the support from labor union thugs. Not too long afterwards, according to a memo obtained by The Associated Press, Obama's senior economic adviser told Canadian officials in Chicago that the debate over free trade in the Democratic presidential primary campaign was "political positioning" and that Obama was not really protectionist.

"Political positioning?"

According to a report in the New York Post, Jesse Jackson told an audience at the World Policy Forum in Evian, France last week that the “Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades” would lose influence under an Obama administration. So would an Obama administration really support Israel or is it just political positioning again.

Obama denies his close friendship with domestic terrorist William Ayers and claims that he did not know about "his" Pastor of twenty years of being an anti-Semite, America hating racist. Obama denies working and training operatives for the discredited ACORN. Obama denies getting a sweet heart deal from convicted slumlord Tony Rezko.

More political positioning?

Obama promises to lower taxes and to not take the guns from those that are "bitter" and "cling to guns and religion." Obama claims that he will be tough on terrorists and will increase the size of the military for that cause. More "political positioning" I suppose.

An ObamaNation

Ask yourself if you could ever vote for a presidential candidate that is supported by the terrorist group Hamas. Ask yourself if you could ever support said candidate that is supported by the Socialist dictator Hugo Chavez. Could you support the candidate if he was supported by Iranian mad-man Ahmadinejad?

Are you in favor of a candidate that wants to slash our defense budget in a time of war, or a candidate that wants to eliminate our missile defense when rouge nations are developing long range ICBM’s? Again, ask yourself if you could support a candidate that pals around with an admitted domestic terrorist that declared war on the United States of America.

This candidate started his political career in the living room of this terrorist and has had many other ties to this scum-bag. Would you sit in the pews for twenty years of a church that had a pastor that hated the United States and accused America of being a racist country? If you could support such a candidate, I guess you are more enlightened than the rest of us.

The coronation begins tonight of his majesty the ONE, the Messiah Obama. I have read that his surroundings will be made to look like a Greek temple fit for a God. I wish that I could photo shop the above Napoleon picture with Obama's face as it would be fitting. I don't know if the Pope will be on hand tonight in Denver to place the crown upon the ONE's head but we can only hope. We do know that Bill Clinton will not be there to witness the crowning of "his" candidate of choice, so much for the ringing endorsement.

My predictions for Obama VP

The orgasmic coverage of Senator Obama's VP choice is finally coming to an end. I will predict my dark horse pick and of course the safe pick. My dark horse pick is liberal-Republican Senator Chuck Hagel out of Nebraska. My safe pick will be horse-squeeze Delaware Senator Joe Biden. In a few hours we will know the answer. I hope to hell it is Biden, as he will be a fine target.

A report by Cliff Kincaid at Accuracy in Media states: 'In addition to seeking to eradicate poverty, that (U.N.) declaration commits nations to banning 'small arms and light weapons' and ratifying a series of treaties, including the International Criminal Court Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol (global warming treaty), the Convention of Biological Diversity, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and the Convention of the Rights of the Child,' he said.

Kincaid also reported Jeffrey Sachs, who runs the "Millennium Project," confirms a U.N. plan to force the U.S. to pay 0.7 percent of GNP would add about $65 billion a year to what the U.S. already donates overseas.

The Global Poverty Act passed the House last October – on a Voice vote – no record of who voted or how! It is now up to the Senate – and the Citizens! We urge you to instruct your senators to vote NO on the Global Poverty Act (S 2433).

Just to keep things in perspective..re Global Poverty Act.

When we first alerted you to the Global Poverty Act several weeks ago it was literally flying under the radar.

In fact the House of Representatives actually passed the bill on a voice vote because many Members simply weren't paying attention.

According to CNS News, "the bill came attached to a mammoth 3, 000-page piece of legislation at the end of the legislative session, meaning that congressmen barely had time to even read the overall legislation before voting on the bill -- and there was no way to target specific line items."

Then you took action! Your calls and Blast Faxes made a huge difference and drove this stealth United Nations style give away out into the open. Make no mistake, the Global Poverty Act is firmly in the crosshairs and YOU deserve a great deal of the credit for getting this ball rolling.

And now that you've gotten the attention of our elected officials, it's time to finish the job.

We simply can not rest on our laurels and hope to coast to victory on this one... it's too important!

Don't let our legislators think this matter has blown over. Let them know that you are still watching. This bill can still come up for a vote at any time. Demand that our conservative legislators do whatever it takes -- a filibuster if necessary -- to stop this bill dead in its tracks.

Winning the war on terror

Between January 1st and July 28th. more than 2700 Taliban, Al-Qaeda and other Islamo-Fascist terrorists have been sent to Allah and the 72 virgins. Since the war on terror began in Afghanistan, over 24,000 terrorists have been eliminated in that theater of battle.

Since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, at least 22,000+ Al-Qaeda, Islamo-Fascist and insurgents have been regulated to martyrdom. It is estimated that 30,000 Iraqi military personnel were killed in the initial invasion to topple Saddam Hussein.

With the success of the surge violence continues to decline in Iraq, down 85% from last year and Al-Qaeda is on the run. The United States just removed 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" — the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment — from Saddam's failed nuclear weapons program.

I realize that most Americans have not seen the number of terrorist deaths inflicted by our armed forces. The liberal media would like you to think that only American soldiers and innocent civilians are getting killed. They also would like you to think that President Bush and our military are failures and torturers.

Americans should take comfort in the knowledge that America "is" winning the war on terror. Democrats in general and liberals in particular have fought Pesident Bush in his waging of war and delayed our victory in the process. If Obama is elected as the 44th President of the United States, I feel the tide will turn back towards the Islamo-fascists.

UPDATE-Afghanistan: As of 8-22-2008-There are now 3500 Islamo-fascist terrorists that have been sent to Allah this year alone. Nice work of our coalition forces wouldn't you say?
