Reformists protest in Iran video-protester shot

Amazing video of the riots in Iran. Could this lead to a second revolution within Iran? The Republican Guard vowed before the election that they would not allow a "Velvet Revolution." Did they know that the vote was going to be rigged and thus would have riots in the streets? It is being reported by the Jerusalem Post that Hamas fighters are helping Iran in trying to quell protests. Stay tuned, this could get interesting.

This photo shows a photoshop attempt to make it appear that a pro-Ahmadinejad rally is larger than it actually was.

  1. I do have to ask though; even if they throw out Ahmadinejad, does it really make a difference? It's the religious nuts that run Iran anyway. If that's the case, do they have a chance against them?

  2. You are correct about both of the candidates being religious nuts, but a majority of the population are not. I think if Mousavi can pull this thing off, he will be forced to moderate a bit. At the very least, the turmoil will weaken Ahmadinejad.
