Senator Obama will make Jimmy Carter look like Rambo.

To those conservatives that are wavering in their support for Sen. McCain, try to imagine that this is only a two issue race. Overlook the issues that you disagree with Mr. McCain and try to forget his past back-stabbing of the conservative base.

Two of the most important decisions that the 44th President of the United States will make will be Homeland Security/war on terror and appointments to the supreme court and the federal bench.
With a Democratic controlled Congress, most legislative issues will be a irrelevant if McCain is elected. However, if Obama is elected he will have carte blanche with Reid and Pelosi.

Obama will most certainly appoint supreme court justices in the mold of Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Stephen Breyer. His federal court nominees will also legislate from the bench in regards to abortion, gay marriage, affirmative action and enemy combatants. McCain has promised justices in the mold of Alito and Roberts. We need at least four or maybe eight more years to pack the federal bench with strict constructionist judges.

Senator Obama would make Jimmy Carter look like Rambo when it comes to national security and the war on terror. McCain had a good quip recently when he stated that "You know one of his favorite phrases is that I would be a Bush third term. Well I think maybe his proposals could be a Carter second term." McCain would be a fabulous commander in chief that would take the fight to the terrorists and will not permit Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to obatain nukes.

These important issues should make it a no-brainer for conservatives when headed to the ballot box. There may be two and possibly three supreme court nominations for the next president that would pave the way for a strict constructionist court. The tide is turning against Islamo-fascist terrorists and we need John McCain to carry on that fight.
