The Obama Brownshirts have carte blanche.

According to the Washington Times, House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate purported wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying "powers that be" put the kibosh on the idea. The chairman declined to elaborate, shrugging off questions about who told him how to run his committee and give the Democrat-allied group a pass. This comes after the Obama administration refusal to investigate the Black Panthers wing of the Obama Brownshirts for voter intimidation. Who are the "powers to be" that Chairman Conyers refers to in his statement? According to the Washington Times, Pittsburgh lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh, whose testimony about ACORN at a March 19 hearing on voting issues prompted Mr. Conyers to call for a probe, said she was perplexed by Mr. Conyers' explanation for his change of heart. I am perplexed as well for the mere fact that Acorn faces at least 14 investigations for voter fraud in the US.

ACORN receives federal dollars to organize support and to commit voter fraud for the President of the United States. Based on that very fact, this group is illegal. Eric Holders' refusal to prosecute the videotaped nightclub laden Black Panther for voter intimidation stuns the imagination. Bartel Bull, a longtime Democratic activist, told Fox News he believes charges were dismissed by Eric Holder to protect the New Black Panther Party's ability to prevent ACORN-registered, ineligible voters from being challenged by poll watchers. If any of this type of voter intimidation occurred during a Republican administration, the state controlled media would be calling for trials of all those involved. The House and Senate would be bogged down with investigations 24/7.








In Bartel Bull's affidavit, Bull wrote "I watched the two uniformed men confront voters and attempt to intimidate voters. They were positioned in a location that forced every voter to pass in close proximity to them. The weapon was openly displayed and brandished in plain sight of voters." He also said they tried to "interfere with the work of other poll observers ... whom the uniformed men apparently believed did not share their preferences politically," noting that one of the panthers turned toward the white poll observers and said "you are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker. Change we can believe in wouldn't you say?

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has signed on as a national partner with the U.S. Census Bureau in February 2009 to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States. An organization with at least 14 outstanding investigations for voter fraud being asked to help with the all important US census is outrageous. This is hardly surprising. The White House, in a power grab, has taken control of the Census and will undoubtedly cook the Census books in search of gains for the Democratic Party or the Black or Hispanic caucuses. Now that the Obama Brownshirts have total carte blanche, the Coup d'etat fix will be in.
