I was impressed when newly elected Barack Obama ordered 17000 new troops to fight in the Afghanistan theater, however my enthusiasm has since been displaced. I think it began when President Obama was quoted as saying, “I’m always worried about using the word ‘victory,’ because you know that invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur,” when asked about victory in Afghanistan. Yes, you read that right. Obama is uncomfortable about using the word "victory."
With the prospect that U.S. Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal may ask for as many as 45,000 additional American troops in Afghanistan is fueling growing tension within President Barack Obama's administration over the U.S. commitment to the war there. Obama administration officials have acknowledged that with increasing war causalities and health care and budget debates, Vice President Biden and other officials "are increasingly anxious about how the American public would respond to sending additional troops." Mr. Biden, the American people want us to win in Afghanistan and they expect you and Mr. Obama to do what is necessary to win that war. If General McChrystal and General Petraeus request more troops, then I think it may be a good idea to send more troops.
Spending your time reading polls and trying to placate your base is not leadership. All of the Bush-Derangement-Syndrome fanatics always accused President Bush of not heading the publics will and to surrender in Iraq. Mr. Bush was not swayed by polls when it came to national security and I respect him for that. Pentagon officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to talk to the media, said Biden has argued that without sustained support from the American people, the U.S. can't make the long-term commitment that would be needed to stabilize Afghanistan and dismantle al Qaida and Biden's office declined to comment.
"I think they (the Obama administration) thought this would be more popular and easier," a senior Pentagon official said. "We are not getting a Bush-like commitment to this war." This is crazy people! According to Newsmax, Monday's Afghanistan assessment initially was to include troop recommendations, but political concerns prompted White House and Pentagon officials to agree that those recommendations would come later. Obama is letting politics get in the way of winning the war. There are more indications that this Administration is not fully committed to the Global War on Terror and victory in that war. Obama has banned the use of Global War on Terror, but has began The Holder/Obama Global War on the CIA. This Administration is more committed to prosecuting the men and women of the CIA than they are at defeating the true enemy.
According to Newsmax, Senior Military officals believe Obama now feels that McChrystal and his superior, Army Gen. David Petraeus , the head of the Central Command, are pressuring Obama to commit still more troops to Afghanistan and Obama's national security adviser told McChrystal last month not to ask for more troops. What the hell kind of leadership is that? President Obama, please get your head out of your poll driven ass and win this war. Get out of campaign mode and get into leadership mode because those American soldiers are not Republicans or Democrats, they are America's warriors.

Enhanced Interrogation Techniques and Pandora's box
In President Obama’s zeal to placate the MoveOn.org/George Soros wing of the Democratic Party is now coming back to bite them in the ass. The anti-America liberal wing has been pressuring the Obama Administration into a witch hunt of the Bush Administration since day one. Obama has acquiesced to their demands by allowing AG Holder to decide if charges are warranted for the alleged mass-torture by the Bush Administration. Former Vice-President Cheney’s call for the release of CIA memos that illustrate the success of the enhanced interrogation techniques was the first shot over the bow. It has now been proven that House Speaker Nance Pelosi lied about what she new and when she new it about the alleged torture of terrorists.
After initial denials, newly released documents prove that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was thoroughly briefed in September 2002 that CIA interrogators were water boarding terrorist Abu Zubaydah. Nancy Pelosi has lied about this knowledge from the very beginning and with good reason. If it were known that Pelosi signed off on the alleged torture, her liberal base would be outraged. The 10-page report, submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee and other Capitol Hill officials Wednesday, refutes in considerable detail Pelosi’s statement last month that she was never told about the use of water boarding or other special interrogation tactics. According to the report, Pelosi was told of the techniques used against Zubaydah during a Sept. 4, 2002, meeting with intelligence officials.
Pelosi has said repeatedly that she was told only that the Bush administration had legal opinions that would have supported the use of such techniques. But CIA leaders have maintained that Pelosi and other Democrats who have been protesting recently about the use of enhanced interrogation knew about it all along. This shows the sharp contrast of liberal hypocarcy and the lengths they will go to harm our national security just to damage to George W. Bush’s legacy. Everything is political with these people even if it harms our war on terror and national security. Political power is more important than victory over radical Islam.
I think you will see this issue buried without much fanfare and much to the liberal wings dismay. Bush-Derangement Syndrome is still prevalent in the Democratic Party even after the victory of the Messiah. Will Pelosi face repercussions from her base because of the newly released memos? The simple answer is no. Liberals care not for truth but only for power and they will do anything to advance their cause. I would welcome such a debate and the importance of EIT and the American lives that were saved because of it. Liberals will trade American lives to retain power and control of the government and that is just plain sick!

"We will never forget" has been forgotten: The third Jihad
In the days that followed September 11, 2001, the slogan "we will never forget" was everywhere the eye could see. That defiant slogan was adorned on bumper stickers, tee shirts, car magnets and patriotic photos that hung in office cubicles. Even today, I still see an occasional faded car magnet that is emblazoned with that motto. How things change in eight short years. American memories have faded much like that weathered car magnet in regards to our war on terror with Islamo-Fascism. The war on terror is now referred to as an overseas contingent operation and an act of terror is referred as a man made catastrophe. President Obama recently returned from his overseas apology tour and acted as if Americans were responsible for the world’s ills.
The slogan that followed the Shoah after World War II was "never again" and even that seems to have faded from memory as the world allows the Persian Nazi to obtain nuclear weapons. Watch the 4 short videos about the third Jihad and refresh your memory about the enemy we still face. Even though Obama and his liberal cohorts want to forget what happened on that day in September and deny the war on terror does not make it go away. We may not be at war with them but they are still at war with us. The same way is was September 10, 2001. A pre-911 mindset.

What defines "victory" for Israel

With the international outcry of the pacifists of the world, Israel is once again being forced into a corner that will spell its defeat. The current "cease fire" accord being passed around is the work of the French and Egyptians and demands for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and the terrorists. The UN resolution that stopped the Second Lebanese War allowed Hizbullah to rearm under the auspice of the UN. These worthless resolutions do not and will not promote peace. Any meaningful peace accord must have two partners that are willing to dance. Radical Muslim terrorists only dance around the truth and are unwilling partners for peace.
If there is any doubt in the willingness of Hamas to abide by any peace accord, let us take a look at their charter. Article 13. "There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. The initiatives, proposals and International Conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility." The Hamas charter also calls for the destruction of Israel and they have refused to alter it to this day. Hamas and other radical Islamists will never abide by any peace accord with Zionists and or Christians. They raise their future little terrorists to hate everything that is non-Muslim and proudly send them to martyrdom and the 72 ugly virgins.
Anything less than a full defeat of Hamas by Israel will be a defeat for PM Olmert. If history is any guide, Israel will agree to some worthless resolution that will allow Hamas to rearm and fight another day. Israel holds all the cards in this morass and should play them accordingly. Any truce should demand the following:
International troops would be deployed in and around Gaza.
The immediate return of Cpl. Gilad Shalit.
Any missile and/or other terrorist activity will be dealt with a massive military response by Israel.
Hamas has rejected any form of International troops to monitor Gaza and rejected the PA from monitoring the crossings. Why do you think Hamas would be against international monitors? Hamas are masters of faking deaths of children and innocents and that would be harder to do with international monitors. It is easy to fake and promote collateral damage when you have the UN staff and AP reporters who gladly promote Hamas propaganda. The ideal situation would be to give Gaza back to Egypt and the West Bank to the Jordanians. The Palestinians have proven that they are unable to provide for themselves and produce jobs for their people.
Israel has done everything to avoid collateral damage and Hamas has done everything to inflict collateral damage. America and Western nations should support Israel in their fight to protect themselves from terrorists. Some Arab countries are turning against this fecal matter called Hamas and that is a positive result coming from the Middle East. I urge Prime Minister Olmert to ignore the pacifists of the world and inflict a massive blow to Hamas. Anything less than victory or an iron clad accord will be seen as a failure. Mr. Olmert, you already have one defeat on your resume, let us not have another.

The Genesis of Islamo-Fascism

It looks as though the Israelis have finally had enough of the daily terrorist attacks from Hamas. The Hamas regime has launched more than 3000 missiles and mortars at Israeli citizens in 2008 and their snipers continue to target farmers and other innocents. International condemnation of Israel is no surprise and has come mostly from Muslim countries and the United Nations. What is a surprise is the statement from French President Nicolas Sarkozy when he accused the Israelis of "using disproportionate violence." The French have always (last 100 years) been seen as weak and pacifists in nature. The election of Sarkozy brought hope that the French would finally see the world as it really is and get aboard with the global war on terror.
Another surprise is emanating from a Middle Eastern country that you might not expect. Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit has blamed Hamas for their current situation and has been quoted as saying, "They (Hizbullah) have practically declared war on Egypt and they want for there to be chaos in Egypt as there is in their country." Hizbullah, as you may know, has vowed to attack Israel in the North in retaliation for the Israeli Gaza operation in the South. Hizbullah and Hamas are both terrorist proxies of the Republic of Iran and the Egyptians are now publicly stating the dangers of both groups in the region. That is a welcome development from a Muslim country.
Most of the Muslim leaders in the region defend the Palestinian terrorist activity mainly for local public consumption and to avoid looking pro-Zionist. Egypt and Jordan distrust Hamas because they are a splinter group of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is a Sunni group that wants to create a Muslim Caliphate under Sharia law that spans from Spain to Indonesia. The Muslim Brotherhoods credo is: Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qu’ran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way Allah is our highest hope. Sounds a lot like our Al Qaeda friends mind set to me.
The world must support Israel in their fight against Hamas even if the Jews have to invade the Gaza Strip. The missiles will not stop until the Hamas regime is defeated. There will be no two state solution between Israel and the so-called moderate Palestinians until Hamas is defeated. The Gaza Strip has Iranian Al Quds and Al Qaeda terrorist cells that operate freely to plot their destruction. Defeating Hamas is just another battle in the global war on terror and I would like to see even more shock and awe from the Israelis. The Israeli battle is our battle.
The pacifists of the world need to learn that Islamo-Fascism wherever it lurks will inevitably affect their way of life. As I have wrote previously, modern Islamic fanaticism began in Iran in 1979 with the Islamic revolution. Iran’s leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, was quoted as saying “Establishing the Islamic state world-wide belong to the great goals of the revolution." This was the genesis of Islamo-fascism in the modern world that bred the groups we have today. In the end, we must destroy the birthplace of Jihad and that place is Iran.

Global War-On-Terror: Update

Latest in the Global War-on-Terror: Al Qaeda leader Abu Ghadiya was killed or captured in yesterday's strike inside Syria, a senior US military intelligence official told The Long War Journal. But US special operations forces also inflicted a major blow to al Qaeda's foreign fighter network based in Syria. The entire senior leadership of Ghadiya's network was also killed in the raid, the official stated.
Haji Omar Khan, a senior Taliban leader in South Waziristan who strong ties to Mullah Omar, is said to have been killed in the strike that is believed to have killed an estimated 16 to 20 people, including "foreigners." Omar's death has not been confirmed, and the Taliban have yet to release any statement acknowledging his death.
Iraqi troops continue to encounter Iranian agents in eastern Iraq. One Iranian was killed and another was captured during a clash in Al Kut in Wasit province, an Iraqi Army officer told Voices of Iraq.
"The forces killed and detained the two Iranians during clashes that broke out in Sheikh Saad district in south of Kut," Major Aziz Latief, an officer from the 2nd Quick Reaction Force told the Iraqi newspaper.
Thanks go out to our American warriors and our allies.
