There was a Pied Piper and it was Obama

I received this email today and I just had to share it. The sad part is that it is real and it is happening now.
_____________________________________________________________________________

There was a Pied Piper who said,
"We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change it!"
*And the people said, "Change is good!"

Then he said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats,".
*And the people said "Sock it to them!"

"and redistribute their wealth."
*And the people said, "Show me the money!"

And then he said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody"
*And Joe the plumber said, are you kidding me?"

And Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized.
*And one lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?"

And she was banished from the kingdom!
Then someone asked, "With no foreign relations experience, how will you deal with radical terrorists?"

And the Pied Piper said, "Simple. I'll sit down and talk with them and show them how nice we really are and they'll forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!"

Then the Pied Piper said, "I'll give 95% of you lower taxes."
*And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes."

So the Pied Piper said, "Then I'll give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!"
*And the people said, "Show me the money!"

Then the Pied Piper said, "I'll tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!"
*And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed.

And he said, "I'll mandate employer- funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage."
*And the people said, "Gim'me some of that!"

Then he said, "I'll penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."
*And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then the Pied Piper actually said, "I'll bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!"
*And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates."

So the Pied Piper said, "Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we'll bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!" Then he said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing."
*And the people said, "Ole`! Bravo!" And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy slowed even further. Then the Pied Piper said, "I am the Messiah and I'm here to save you! We'll just print more money so everyone will have enough!" But our foreign trading partners said, "Wait a minute. Your dollar isn't worth what it was. You'll have to pay more."
*And the people said, "Wait a minute. That's not fair!"

And the world said, "Neither are these other, idiotic programs you've embraced. You've become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you'll play by our rules!"
*And the people said, "What have we done?"

But it was too late.
If you think this is a fairy tale, open your eyes and ears. It's happening RIGHT NOW!

Socialized health-care is heading your way

Now that Obama has virtual control of the House and Senate, there is really no one to stand in his way to changing our health care system to one that mirrors the Canadian system. Mr. Obama has asked for a $634 billion down payment on universal (socialized) health care. The key word is "down payment,” which translates to trillions more from the American taxpayer for rationed health care. According to The Fraser Institute's annual report "Waiting Your Turn" estimates that Canadians are waiting for nearly 800,000 medical procedures. If the Canadian system was adopted in the U.S. - and you assume one person per treatment - that would translate to nearly 7.3 million Americans. Not 7.3 million Americans theoretically without health care due to a lack of insurance - but 7.3 million Americans who need medical treatment but cannot get it without being on long waiting lists.

I have to put together these short films by Stuart Browning to show the dangers that await us with the new Socialist-Troika that is now in charge. Stuart has done a great job exposing the truth about a "single-payer" system that Obama and the liberals are pushing. The time is now to contact your Representives and Senators and express your outrage with what the liberals are trying to cram down our collective necks. I encourage all of my Canadian and European readers to comment on your experiences with a socialized health care system in your respective countries. Take a few minutes to watch these videos, because if you stay uninformed, you may be forced into a system that could cost you your life.

Limbaugh's offer to Obama-A true bipartisan stimulus bill

This is a Wall Street Journal Op-Ed piece written by Rush Limbaugh that is truly genius. This would be a true "bipartisan" approach to the stimulus bill. I doubt President Obama will accept Limbaugh's bipartisan compromise but it is worth a try.
___________________________________

There's a serious debate in this country as to how best to end the recession. The average recession will last five to 11 months; the average recovery will last six years. Recessions will end on their own if they're left alone. What can make the recession worse is the wrong kind of government intervention.

I believe the wrong kind is precisely what President Barack Obama has proposed. I don't believe his is a "stimulus plan" at all -- I don't think it stimulates anything but the Democratic Party. This "porkulus" bill is designed to repair the Democratic Party's power losses from the 1990s forward, and to cement the party's majority power for decades.

Keynesian economists believe government spending on "shovel-ready" infrastructure projects -- schools, roads, bridges -- is the best way to stimulate our staggering economy. Supply-side economists make an equally persuasive case that tax cuts are the surest and quickest way to create permanent jobs and cause an economy to rebound. That happened under JFK, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. We know that when tax rates are cut in a recession, it brings an economy back.
Recent polling indicates that the American people are in favor of both approaches.

Notwithstanding the media blitz in support of the Obama stimulus plan, most Americans, according to a new Rasmussen poll, are skeptical. Rasmussen finds that 59% fear that Congress and the president will increase government spending too much. Only 17% worry they will cut taxes too much. Since the American people are not certain that the Obama stimulus plan is the way to go, it seems to me there's an opportunity for genuine compromise. At the same time, we can garner evidence on how to deal with future recessions, so every occurrence will no longer become a matter of partisan debate.

Congress is currently haggling over how to spend $900 billion generated by American taxpayers in the private sector. (It's important to remember that it's the people's money, not Washington's.) In a Jan. 23 meeting between President Obama and Republican leaders, Rep. Eric Cantor (R., Va.) proposed a moderate tax cut plan. President Obama responded, "I won. I'm going to trump you on that." Yes, elections have consequences. But where's the bipartisanship, Mr. Obama? This does not have to be a divisive issue. My proposal is a genuine compromise.

Fifty-three percent of American voters voted for Barack Obama; 46% voted for John McCain, and 1% voted for wackos. Give that 1% to President Obama. Let's say the vote was 54% to 46%. As a way to bring the country together and at the same time determine the most effective way to deal with recessions, under the Obama-Limbaugh Stimulus Plan of 2009: 54% of the $900 billion -- $486 billion -- will be spent on infrastructure and pork as defined by Mr. Obama and the Democrats; 46% -- $414 billion -- will be directed toward tax cuts, as determined by me.

Then we compare. We see which stimulus actually works. This is bipartisanship! It would satisfy the American people's wishes, as polls currently note; and it would also serve as a measurable test as to which approach best stimulates job growth. I say, cut the U.S. corporate tax rate -- at 35%, among the highest of all industrialized nations -- in half. Suspend the capital gains tax for a year to incentivize new investment, after which it would be reimposed at 10%. Then get out of the way!

Once Wall Street starts ticking up 500 points a day, the rest of the private sector will follow. There's no reason to tell the American people their future is bleak. There's no reason, as the administration is doing, to depress their hopes. There's no reason to insist that recovery can't happen quickly, because it can.

In this new era of responsibility, let's use both Keynesians and supply-siders to responsibly determine which theory best stimulates our economy -- and if elements of both work, so much the better. The American people are made up of Republicans, Democrats, independents and moderates, but our economy doesn't know the difference. This is about jobs now.

The economic crisis is an opportunity to unify people, if we set aside the politics. The leader of the Democrats and the leader of the Republicans (me, according to Mr. Obama) can get it done. This will have the overwhelming support of the American people. Let's stop the acrimony. Let's start solving our problems, together. Why wait one more day?

Digg!

Yet another corrupt friend of Obama

Yet another friend of President-elect Obama that is involved in corruption. With the old Clinton hacks being appointed to the Obama administration and friends that have a tainted past, it really is starting to look like the Clinton third term. Is that the "change" that the Messiah spoke of during the campaign?

How Obama Got Elected... Interviews With Obama Voters

This video shows the world the collective intellect of the Obama voter. This video also shows how media bias can affect an entire election. The main-stream media can effectively brainwash a dense voter with the information that they want them to have and thus have an election result that suits them. After watching this and you still have doubts about the affects of media bias, you are probably one of these "informed" Obama voters. Go to http://howobamagotelected.com for more information about this story. I can assure you that had they interviewed Republican voters, the results would have been very different.
